About World Study Africa

World Study Africa is an honest study-abroad service that helps African students reach Europe — with real costs in your own currency, no "guaranteed visa" hype, and a free core service funded by university commission. We help students from eight African countries apply to seven European destinations, vet every document, and tell you the truth, including when the answer is no.

The problem we exist to fix

If you have looked into studying abroad, you have already met the problem. An “agent” slides into your DMs promising a “98% guaranteed visa”, a “guaranteed scholarship” or “guaranteed admission” — for a large fee, in cash, to a personal account, today, before the “slots” run out. Then one of two things happens: they disappear with your money, or they submit forged bank statements and offer letters in your name that get your visa refused and can have you banned for years.

The damage is not only financial. Every year African students lose savings, documents and whole application cycles to people who sell promises instead of doing the work. The lie is always the same shape — a promise where there should be a process. No agent controls an embassy or a university admissions board. Approval depends on your documents, your funds and a genuine-student profile, never on an agent’s “connections”.

Even among the agents who are not outright fraudsters, hidden fees are everywhere: vague answers about money, “registration” charges that appear after you have committed, and prices that are never put in writing. We built World Study Africa to be the opposite of all of this.

How we’re different

Our difference is not a slogan; it is the business model itself. We are paid a commission by partner universities only when you actually enrol. That single fact removes the incentive to lie to you, because we gain nothing by pushing you toward a country where you cannot get a visa or a course you cannot afford.

Here is what that means in practice:

  • Real costs in your local currency. We show tuition, living costs, visa fees and the proof-of-funds you genuinely need — in Naira, Cedi, Shilling, Rand and the rest — so there are no surprises at the embassy or the bank. No hidden “processing” fees, ever; any optional paid service is quoted upfront and in writing.
  • A free core service, funded by commission. Choosing universities, preparing your application and securing your offer cost you nothing. The only paid services are optional, such as premium visa and relocation support, and you decide on those with the price in front of you. See exactly what is free and what is paid on our services page and the full breakdown on our pricing page.
  • Honest visa odds, not guarantees. We tell you the real refusal rates for your country and destination and how to improve your chances with strong, genuine documents — instead of selling you a “guarantee” that no one can keep.
  • Rigorous document vetting. We check every certificate, transcript and bank statement before it is submitted, and we confirm offer letters directly with the university, so nothing fraudulent ever goes near your application.
  • Accreditation in progress. We hold ICEF Agency Status (IAS ID 6093), verifiable on the IAS Directory. British Council recognition is still in progress — we will claim it only once it appears on that register. Until then, we earn trust through what we actually do — and we invite you to verify us.

You can see the full, step-by-step version of this on our how we work page.

Who we serve

We deliberately do one corridor well rather than promising the whole world. We focus on African students going to Europe — and within that, a defined set of countries we know in depth, from each embassy’s quirks to each country’s currency and qualifications.

Eight origin countries we help students from: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda and Egypt.

Seven European destinations we cover: Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Malta, Cyprus, Hungary and Poland.

If your country or target destination is not on these lists, you are still welcome to ask — but we will be honest if it falls outside what we currently do well. “Not yet” and “not this country” are real answers we are willing to give, because sending you somewhere we cannot properly support you would betray the whole point of this service.

Our values

Everything above comes down to a short list of things we will not compromise on:

  • Honesty over hype. We would rather tell you a hard truth than win you with a promise we cannot keep. If something is unlikely, you will hear it from us.
  • Transparency. Real costs, written prices, named advisers and clear free-versus-paid lines. You should never wonder what something will cost or who you are dealing with.
  • Your interest first. Because we are paid only when you enrol and succeed, our incentive is your genuine fit — not a quick sale.
  • No fraud, ever. We will never fake a document, inflate a sponsor’s income or coach you to lie. Document fraud puts the visa ban on you, and we protect you from it.
  • Accountability. Real people you can name, a service you can verify, and an honest answer when we get something wrong.

Who we are

We are deliberately not an anonymous, WhatsApp-only “agent”. Every student deals with a named consultant who is accountable for their case — not a faceless account that vanishes when things get hard.

A few honest details about how we operate:

  • Office / location: remote-first, serving students across Africa and Europe — so most contact is by WhatsApp, email and video call.
  • Advisers / team: every student deals with a named consultant who is accountable for their case; ask who is handling yours.
  • Accreditation status: ICEF Agency Status, IAS ID 6093 — verifiable on the IAS Directory. British Council recognition is still in progress. We name a body only once it is confirmed on its official public register, and we never claim a credential we do not yet hold.

Hold us to the same standard we ask of any agent: check that our advisers are real, read our published prices, and verify our accreditation status yourself before you rely on it. When you are ready, talk to a real person — at no cost and no obligation. You can also read what students say about working with us on our reviews page.

Frequently asked questions

World Study Africa is a study-abroad service for African students who want to study in Europe. We help you choose a university, apply and get your offer — funded by commission from partner universities, so our core service is free to you. We cover eight African countries and seven European destinations, and our promise is honesty: real costs, real visa odds, and no "guaranteed visa" claims.

Our core service — choosing universities, preparing your application and securing your offer — costs you nothing, because partner universities pay us a commission when you enrol. The only paid services are optional, such as premium visa and relocation support, and you choose those upfront with the price quoted in writing. Asking a question is always free.

We refuse the tactics that define dishonest agents. We never promise a "98%" or "guaranteed" visa, because only an embassy can decide. We publish real costs in your local currency, vet every certificate and bank statement so nothing fraudulent reaches your application, name our advisers, and earn commission only when you actually enrol — so we have no reason to push you somewhere you cannot get a visa.

We help students from eight African countries — Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda and Egypt — apply to seven European destinations: Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Malta, Cyprus, Hungary and Poland. If your country or target destination isn't on these lists, you can still ask, and we'll be honest about whether we can help you well.

We are working toward recognised industry accreditation and will only claim a credential once it is confirmed on the official register — we never claim accreditations we do not hold. In the meantime we protect you in concrete ways: published prices, named advisers, honest visa-approval odds and rigorous document vetting. You can and should verify any agent, including us.

Not sure where you stand? Ask us honestly.

Our core guidance is free. Tell us your grades, budget and target country — we’ll tell you what is realistic, with real costs in your currency. No inflated promises.
