How We Work

Here is how we work: a free, five-step process that takes you from a quick eligibility check to your departure for Europe. We start with a free eligibility check, build your university shortlist, prepare and submit your applications, get your documents and proof of funds visa-ready, then support your pre-departure. The core is free — universities pay us. Premium visa support is optional.

Below: the five steps in full, exactly what’s free versus paid, how long each stage takes, what we need from you, and how we vet your documents.

Our 5-step process at a glance

Most students come to us anxious and confused — too many agents, too many promises, no clear price. Our job is to make the path obvious and honest. Every student follows the same five steps:

  1. Free eligibility check — we tell you honestly where you can actually study.
  2. Country & university shortlist — 4–6 programs you qualify for and can afford.
  3. Application & documents — we prepare, vet and submit everything.
  4. Visa & proof-of-funds prep — we build a clean, credible visa file.
  5. Pre-departure — we get you ready to travel and enrol.

You only pay if you choose optional Premium Placement for the visa stage. Everything else is funded by the university you enrol at — see exactly what’s free versus paid below, and the full numbers on our pricing page.

How we work — the 5 steps in detail

Step 1 — Free eligibility check (1–2 days)

You start with our free eligibility check or a message on WhatsApp. Tell us your grades, your budget, and where you’d like to study. We read your profile against real entry requirements and visa rules, then give you an honest answer — including when the answer is “not yet” or “not that country.”

  • What you get: a clear read on which of our seven European destinations you qualify for, and a rough cost in your own currency.
  • What it costs: nothing.
  • Timeline: usually 1–2 working days.

Step 2 — Country & university shortlist (3–7 days)

We match you to 4–6 programs you can actually get into and afford — not the ones that pay us the most. For each, you see the tuition, living costs, the proof-of-funds requirement, and an honest note on the visa-refusal odds for your country.

  • What you get: a shortlist with real costs and honest odds; we lead with affordable, often tuition-free options like Germany rather than only pushing the UK.
  • What it costs: nothing.
  • Timeline: about 3–7 days after your eligibility check.

Step 3 — Application & documents (2–6 weeks)

We prepare and submit your university applications, run the uni-assist credential check where Germany needs it, and vet every document before it’s submitted — transcripts, certificates, references and English-test results. Weak documents are the number-one cause of avoidable refusals, so this stage is where we earn our keep.

  • What you get: completed applications, a credential check where required, and documents checked against each university’s exact rules.
  • What it costs: nothing for the standard service. (See how we vet your documents.)
  • Timeline: 2–6 weeks, depending on intake deadlines and how fast you send us your files.

Step 4 — Visa & proof-of-funds prep (3–8 weeks)

When your offer arrives, we help you arrange proof of funds — the blocked account for Germany, maintenance funds for the UK, the tuition prepayment for Ireland — and we build a clean, credible visa file. This is where optional Premium Placement applies: full visa-file preparation, interview coaching, and relocation support.

  • What you get: a complete proof-of-funds plan plus, with Premium Placement, a fully built visa file and interview prep.
  • What it costs: the visa file itself is Premium Placement, €945–€2,100 — optional, quoted upfront. Basic guidance stays free.
  • Timeline: 3–8 weeks, set largely by embassy appointment and processing times, not by us.

Step 5 — Pre-departure (1–3 weeks)

Before you fly, we help you tie up the practical loose ends: accommodation, travel, opening a local bank account, registration on arrival, and what to expect in your first weeks. We want you to land prepared, not just admitted.

  • What you get: a pre-departure checklist and support up to enrolment.
  • What it costs: included with Premium Placement; basic guidance is free.
  • Timeline: the final 1–3 weeks before travel.

What’s free vs paid {#free-vs-paid}

Here’s the part most agencies hide. We publish exactly what costs nothing and what doesn’t.

Stage What’s included Price Who pays
1. Eligibility check Honest read on where you qualify Free University commission (15–25%)
2. Country & university shortlist 4–6 matched programs with real costs Free University commission
3. Application & documents Applications, uni-assist, document vetting Free University commission
4. Visa & proof-of-funds prep Basic proof-of-funds guidance Free University commission
4. Visa & proof-of-funds prep Full visa file, interview coaching, relocation Premium Placement €945–€2,100 You — optional
5. Pre-departure Checklist + support to enrolment Included with Premium Placement You — optional

How the free core is funded. When you enrol at a partner university, that university pays us a commission of 15–25% of your first-year tuition. It’s a standard, regulated arrangement across the industry — it’s how IDP, ApplyBoard and most agencies operate. The difference is we tell you about it. It also means we are only paid when you actually enrol and start, so we have no reason to send you somewhere you can’t get a visa.

Our no-hidden-fees pledge. You will never be charged a “registration fee”, a “processing fee” or a surprise commission. The free stages above are free, full stop. The only thing you pay for is Premium Placement — and you choose it, after we’ve quoted the exact price. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.

How long the whole process takes

End to end, most students move from first enquiry to a visa decision in about 2–4 months — but the real clock is set by intake deadlines, embassy appointments and how quickly you send us your documents, not by us. The honest advice: start at least 6–9 months before your intended intake so you never miss a deadline or rush a visa file. We will always tell you if a timeline is unrealistic rather than take you on for a deadline you can’t meet.

What we need from you

We can only move as fast as your documents. To start, have these ready:

  • Academic records — your WAEC/NECO or national certificate, plus degree transcripts and certificates for postgraduate study.
  • English evidence — IELTS/TOEFL/PTE results, or a Medium of Instruction letter if your studies were in English.
  • Identity — a valid international passport (or the application receipt).
  • Funding picture — an honest view of your budget, sponsor or scholarship plans, so we shortlist what you can actually afford.
  • Your goals — your target course, country and intended intake.

Send us clear scans, answer our questions honestly, and meet the deadlines we set together. The single biggest delay is missing or weak documents — which is exactly what the next step prevents.

How we vet your documents

Most visa refusals come from avoidable document errors — a transcript that doesn’t match, a bank statement that raises questions, a funding story that doesn’t add up. So before anything is submitted, we check every file against the specific university and embassy rules for your country: format, certification, translation, consistency and credibility.

This is a feature, not an upsell — document vetting is part of the free core. See the full method on our how we vet documents page.

Why we work this way

  • Honesty is the brand. We never claim “guaranteed visa” or “98% success”. We quote real approval odds and explain how strong documents and a genuine study plan improve them.
  • Aligned incentives. Because our commission only pays out when you actually enrol and start your course, our interests match yours — we win when you arrive, not when you sign.
  • Transparent pricing. One optional paid product (Premium Placement), quoted upfront. No registration fees, no surprises.
  • Real advisors. You deal with named consultants, not anonymous WhatsApp “agents”. Learn more about our consulting service.

Start with a free eligibility check

There’s no cost and no obligation. Tell us your grades, budget and where you want to study, and we’ll give you an honest answer — including when the answer is “not yet”.

Frequently asked questions

We work in five steps: a free eligibility check, a country and university shortlist of 4–6 programs, application and document preparation, visa and proof-of-funds prep, and pre-departure support. The first four stages are free because partner universities pay us a commission of 15–25% of first-year tuition. You only pay if you choose optional Premium Placement for the visa stage.

Yes — the core process genuinely costs you nothing. The eligibility check, university shortlist, applications and document vetting are all funded by university commission, the same model IDP and ApplyBoard use. The only paid service is Premium Placement (€945–€2,100), which covers your full visa file, interview coaching and relocation support, and you choose it upfront with the price quoted.

Most students go from first enquiry to a visa decision in about 2–4 months, but the real timeline is set by intake deadlines, embassy appointments and how fast you send your documents. We recommend starting 6–9 months before your intended intake so you never have to rush a visa file or miss a deadline.

Your academic records (WAEC/NECO or national certificate, plus any degree transcripts), English evidence (IELTS/TOEFL or a Medium of Instruction letter), a valid passport, an honest picture of your budget, and your target course, country and intake. Clear scans and honest answers let us move quickly.

Before anything is submitted, we check every file against the exact university and embassy rules for your country — format, certification, translation, consistency and credibility. Most visa refusals come from avoidable document errors, so this vetting is part of the free core, not an extra. See our how-we-vet-documents page for the full method.

No — and you should distrust any agent who does. No agency can guarantee a visa; the decision rests with the embassy. What we do is improve your odds with strong, verified documents, a genuine study plan and a clean funding story, and we tell you the honest refusal rates for your country before you commit.

Not sure where you stand? Ask us honestly.

Our core guidance is free. Tell us your grades, budget and target country — we’ll tell you what is realistic, with real costs in your currency. No inflated promises.
