Scholarship Application Help for African Students

Our scholarship application help is an optional paid add-on for students chasing a competitive funded award. We coach your essays and motivation letter, prepare your documents, manage your deadlines and run mock interviews for awards like Chevening. We strengthen your application — but we can't guarantee an award, because these scholarships are highly competitive and the decision is the funder's, not ours.

Below: exactly what the add-on includes, which scholarships we support, the price, who it’s for, and how to start.

What the scholarship application add-on is

Finding the right scholarship is free with us — we shortlist the funded options you genuinely qualify for as part of our free core service. This paid add-on is different: it’s hands-on help building one strong application for a specific award, when the competition is fierce and the essays are what win or lose it.

The add-on covers:

  • Essay & motivation-letter coaching. We work through your personal statement, study plan and the scholarship-specific essays (Chevening’s four, for example) until they’re clear, honest and compelling — in your own voice, not ours.
  • Document preparation. We help you assemble and present transcripts, references, your CV, proof of leadership or work experience, and any award-specific forms — correctly formatted and complete.
  • Deadline management. Scholarship calendars are unforgiving and most awards have a single annual round. We map every date, build a working timeline, and keep you on track so you don’t miss a window.
  • Mock interviews. For awards that interview shortlisted candidates (Chevening being the best-known), we run realistic practice interviews and give you direct feedback before the real thing.

We do the coaching and the checking. You write your own essays and own your own story — funders can spot a ghost-written application, and so can we.

Which scholarships we support

We focus on the funded awards African students realistically win, and we’ll tell you honestly whether your profile is competitive before you pay. We support applications for:

  • Stipendium Hungaricum — the Hungarian government scholarship, open to 30+ African countries (tuition, stipend, housing). See our Stipendium Hungaricum guide.
  • DAAD — Germany’s funded scholarships across master’s and PhD levels. See our DAAD guide.
  • Chevening — the UK government’s fully funded one-year master’s, with four essays and a shortlist interview. See our Chevening guide.
  • Erasmus Mundus — EU-wide fully funded joint master’s degrees. See our Erasmus Mundus guide.

We can also help with other awards we cover, including Türkiye Scholarships, Commonwealth and Poland’s Banach/NAWA. Browse the full list on our scholarships hub, or start with the fully funded options if cost is your priority.

How much does scholarship application help cost?

Scholarship shortlisting is free — it’s part of our core service, funded by university commission. This hands-on application add-on is a separate, optional flat fee for help building one strong application.

We quote the exact figure in writing — in EUR and your local currency (₦ Naira, ₵ Cedi, KSh Shilling) — before you agree to anything. There are no registration fees and no hidden charges. See where this sits in our full three-tier pricing.

Our honest stance — we strengthen, we don’t guarantee

This is where dishonest agents make their worst promises, so we’ll be direct.

No agency can guarantee you a scholarship award. These are among the most competitive funding routes in the world — Chevening alone draws tens of thousands of applicants for a limited number of places, and the decision belongs entirely to the funding body. Any agent promising a “guaranteed scholarship” is either lying or about to take your money for an outcome they can’t control.

What we do stand behind is the quality of your application. We make your essays sharper, your documents complete, your timeline realistic and your interview answers prepared. That genuinely improves your odds — but it cannot remove the competition. We’ll also tell you, before you pay, if your profile isn’t yet competitive for the award you’re eyeing, and what would make it stronger.

Who it’s for

The add-on is worth it if you are:

  • Chasing a specific competitive award — Chevening, DAAD, Stipendium Hungaricum or Erasmus Mundus — and want your application to be as strong as it can be.
  • Time-pressed or juggling deadlines across work, study and the application itself.
  • Unsure your essays land — you have the story but struggle to put it on the page convincingly.
  • Facing an interview (Chevening shortlist) and want realistic practice with feedback.

It’s not for everyone. If you only need to find scholarships you qualify for, that’s free with our core service — you don’t need this. And if your profile isn’t yet competitive, we’ll say so rather than sell you an add-on that won’t pay off.

How to start

There’s no cost to ask whether this is right for you.

  1. Tell us the award and your profile — on WhatsApp or the free eligibility check.
  2. We give you an honest read on whether you’re competitive, at no charge.
  3. If it’s a fit, we quote the add-on fee in writing (in EUR and your local currency) and map your deadlines.
  4. We build the application with you — essays, documents, timeline and interview prep.
